The urge to make something
grows for days, weeks,
even months. It grows in me
like some kind of evil virus.
To distract myself I often
go to the movies. My friends
ask me if I like every movie I
see because I see so many
and I always recommend
them, even when they're
bad. Tonight I saw Polanski's
latest. My friend doesn't like
Polanski or his movies. She
says he's a creep. Creep
or no creep, I like watching
pictures move around on
the big screen better than
pacing back and forth in
the studio like a lonely idiot.
