man, its been a rough start to spring with storms hailing down on me just about every time i have a chance to ride...so, my ducati only has 57 miles on it! today is 80-something degrees and the predicted storms vanished into thin air, so i'm gone.

the lone ranger rides a ducati

one lone ranger in australia may succeed in having ALL speeding tickets for the last seven years overturned in his home town if he wins today's (tomorrow's) court case. arguing that the police's speed detection cameras are not calibrated correctly AND cause cancer, the 57-year old motorcyclist hopes to stop the harrassment by the man he has suffered for riding his ducati 1198 at or under the speed limit...gotta feel for the brother!

ducati dream: done and done


i took a trip to yorktown and this is all i brought back! my new ducati 1198 is a super bike for sure: cant wait for the ice to thaw!
i have been obsessed with the ducati for a while, but once i sat on one at the bike show, i knew i had to have it, stat! i scoured the internet and located only one...in new jersey...with credit card at the ready, i inquired about the bike only to find it sold several weeks ago: annoying! so, last weekend i found two had just arrived at redline motor sports in the tidewater region of virginia.
saturday i loaded up the trailer and trudged through our snow to pick it up:
someone else came by to pick up the black one: he was cool...
 im back home in the snow and ice, but i couldnt be happier! 
i saw this aprilia there...
