Denard: Kinda of a Big Deal

Wallpaper Wednesday: Blessed

Sorry for the tardy wallpaper post today, it is a long story, and it ends with me walking on Las Vegas Boulevard at 6AM to get back to my hotel. Better late than never. Special shout out to my friend Dusty for this great wallpaper. If you are a twitter user - follow him @DJTerrell

BONUS WALLPAPER WEDNESDAY

MZone reader Mikoyan sent us this wallpaper in response to our plea for post submissions.

Wallpaper Wednesday - Denard = B10 Player of the Year

I made this wallpaper a couple of weeks ago, but the events associated with the program over the last few weeks have created a gap in this weekly feature.

It is important that the collective Michigan fan base continue to show the love and admiration to Denard Robinson. Of all the potential negative effects of this coaching change, Denard's choice to stay or go could be the most important in the short term success of the program. From my perspective, the single largest failure of the Rich Rodriguez experiment was the absolute refusal to adjust the scheme to the abilities of the players. This cost us the seemingly very valuable skills of Ryan Mallett and many others. I can't imagine that Brady Hoke and his new assistants will throw away the talents of the Big Ten Player of the Year. At least I hope not.

Denard, if you are reading this... PLEASE STAY !!!!! Michigan is a very special place and you are an important part of this program.

Wallpaper Wednesday - The Worst and The Best

HT to Mikoyan and Michigan Exposures for the sleepy wolverine image

Congrats to Denard. Simply amazing.

Double Rainbows Have Nothing on Denard

The video below speaks (and weeps) for itself.

Hello Hypocrisy?

Today in the Michigan Daily there was a front page lead story about the Michigan Athletic Department sending cease-and-desist orders to various local businesses selling things that border on the edge of NCAA compliance issues. These letters called on the vendors to discontinue production and sales of items referencing current Michigan Student Athletes. I understand the issue and agree with the attempt for compliance. I would hate to see something bad happen to Denard or any other football player because of something like this.

I am a bit confused on how UM can make claim to uncopyrighted words like SHOELACE or simple statements like 500 YARD MAN, but whatever.

However, I could not help but notice... directly next to this story was an ad from the paper offering a print of the now famous Denard Heisman pose image against Notre Dame. Can someone explain to me how selling this image to the general public does not break any rules?

Wallpaper Wednesday - All Denard, All The Time

I had planned on a different wallpaper subject this week, but he keeps breaking records, and I can't do it. Warning, if Denard breaks the all time yardage record again this week, I am going to be forced to make ANOTHER DR wallpaper next week.

So please... UMass, for the love of god, fall behind early so Gardner & Tate get to play a lot and I can stop this madness. Also, you knew this was coming....

Edit: There are some really great Denard wallpapers here also.

Denard - Strike the Pose II

It is with great pleasure I make my first post on the fabled canvas of The Original MZone with a special wallpaper honoring Denard Robinson's historic performance yesterday at Notre Dame. There isn't anything I can say that has not already been said. He was incredible. He was amazing. He was... Denard. I had to watch the game from start to finish this morning just to make sure I was not dreaming. The spotlight was bright last year after Tate's performance in the ND game, it is going to get even brighter now for Denard. I don't care about the Heisman, I don't care about being ranked, I only care about getting at least four more wins and playing in a bowl game.

Strike the Pose!

Big HT to FB friend KCM for both the pic and the title.
