Whitney Port usually prefers bright, fun, pretty colors but decided on a sultry little black dress for the Elle Women in Music event. She stepped further out of her style comfort zone by flaunting dark, bordeaux lips. Whitney would almost look edgy if it weren’t for her sweet smile.

Whitney’s long-sleeved dress looks relatively simple from the front, but the drama begins when she turns around! Whitney’s dress featured a bold, exo-skeletal, ribbon-caged back. Paired with sexy, silver-fringe sandals and a studded clutch, Whitney’s outfit is a refreshing deviation from her typically girly fare.

Priyanka Chopra- 12 different characters

There has been a charade of supposed torried affairs Priyanka has been having with her co-stars in recent times.

She has been in and out out her relationship with Shahid Kapur.

"Shahid and I are very good friends and we will promote Kaminey as and when we can. It’s releasing on August 14 so I guess we will also start promoting it near to the release.”

This means things are good between Shahid and Priyanka. Well, Priyanka has almost delivered back to back hits in the last year like Fashion and Dostana and this year her awaited films are Kaminey and What’s Your Rashee in which she is paired with Hurman Baweja

About the film she explains, “It’s a very different film where I am playing twelve different characters. All the girls are from across different countries. A girl from India, a girl from South Africa, etc. It’s different from all my films, in others I have played one character in which you can easily concentrate but in this film its quite hard to play the characters but as Ashutosh sir has helped me so much that for me it have become easy playing these characters.”

What’s Your Rashee will be the second film of Priyanka with Hurman Baweja. Their last film bombed but Priyanka is very sure about for What’s Your Rashee's chance at the BO. She added “ It’s a very different film, no one has seen any movie like this yet and I am sure people will like it.”

Let's hope Priyanka’s charm rubs off on Hurman. We will be seeing Priyanka and Hurman in twelve different characters as the Zodiac. “As I told you its 12 different characters according to the sun sign and we have to get the nature and characteristics of each sun sign correct and also integrate it with nationalites from around the world," she signs off.

Kareena Kapoor’s latest commercial for a Lappy brand has created ripples. According to Bebo, this is the most sexiest and coolest Indian advertisemnet ever! In each and every frame Kareena sheds clothes only to match the colour of her laptop.

“The Ad was shot by a motion control camera, which is the most difficult to shoot with. It took around 16 hours to finish shooting” says she. Kareena changed her clothes around 45 times…speak about quick changing, because she finished the shoot in 16 hours flat.

Kareena says that it was difficult to shoot the sequence because she had to pick up from one point and make sure that she started again from the same point. Poor Bebo had to walk around 20 Km up and down. She finished the shoot at 1 a.m only to realise that she had a morning shift at 7 a.m. At the end of the shoot poor bebo was left with tired feet. Scarlett Johansson & Denzel Washington Named Broadway’s Best

During a ceremony that frequently tipped its hat to the past, the first Tony winner of Sunday night, a breathless and beautiful Scarlett Johansson, was honored for her featured role in the revival of Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge – which first played on Broadway in 1955.

Still, as her excitement demonstrated, being recognized for stage work was an entirely new sensation for the New York-born screen actress. “Being welcomed into this community has been a dream come true for me,” Johansson, 25, said on the great stage of Radio City Music Hall, where the 64th annual Tony Awards, honoring Broadway’s best, were broadcast live on CBS. “Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to be on Broadway, and here I am.”

She also expressed her gratitude to “the Canadian I live with,” husband Ryan Reynolds. “Thank you for being a theater widower for me,” she said as he applauded from the audience of the 6,000-seat hall.

A Bow to Broadway’s Past

Keeping alive the spirit of America’s theatrical past, the Tonys showered awards, including those for best revivals, on the new productions of August Wilson’s 1987 Tony-winning best drama Fences – now starring this year’s Tony-winning best actor Denzel Washington and best actress Viola Davis – and the intimate, revisionist production of 1983’s best musical Tony winner La Cage aux Folles. The new La Cage also took Tonys for its outstanding leading man Douglas Hodge and director Terry Johnson.

“I’m amazed,” said Washington, 55. “I’m really surprised … and blessed.”

In her Broadway debut, Catherine Zeta-Jones, 40, an Oscar winner for the movie Chicago, was named best actress in the musical revival of Stephen Sondheim’s 1973 A Little Night Music. “I really do feel like Cinderella,” she said, thanking her parents and her husband, Michael Douglas – whom she called “a movie star, and I get to sleep with him every night.”

The three-hour ceremony’s first-time host, Will & Grace Emmy winner Sean Hayes, now starring in a revival of the 1968 best musical Promises, Promises, opened the show on the piano, before being joined by the casts of the season’s musicals. Capping the showstopper was the band Green Day, playing from the show based on their songs, American Idiot.

“Welcome to the Tony Awards,” Hayes announced, “the World Cup of show tunes.”
All-Star Couple Power

Adding sparkle to the ceremony, in their roles as presenters, were Katie Holmes and Daniel Radcliffe – as well as a bevy of celebrity couples sitting in the front rows of Radio City. Besides Johansson and Reynolds, there were Michael Douglas and A Little Night Music winner Zeta-Jones; Beyoncé and her Fela! producer-husband, Jay-Z; fellow Fela! producers Will and Jada Pinkett Smith; A View from the Bridge nominee Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts; and presenter Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith.

Both La Cage, with 11, and Fences, with 10 nominations, went into the evening leading the race, as did the musical Fela!, about Nigerian Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti, also with 11. The Tony for best musical, however, went to Memphis, a 1950s story loosely based on Memphis disc jockey Dewey Phillips, who was one of the first white radio personalities to play black music. It also won for its book, original score and orchestrations.

John Logan’s Red, about artist Mark Rothko’s effort to deal with a commercial commission in the late 1950s, was named best play. In all, it won six Tonys, including those for featured actor Eddie Redmayne and director Michael Grandage.

Action packed roles for actresses, is rarely or rather never been prevalent in Bollywood.
Neha Dhupia, who is shapely, fit and raring to do stunts on screen, feels she can pull off an action role, but cries, there are none coming her way.“Action gives such an adrenalin rush. I feel women doing action is just so cool but nothing is happening in Bollywood right now,” the 29-year-old actress said.

Neha added that she wants to do a role like Hollywood stunner Angelina Jolie got to play in ‘Lara Croft: Tomb Raider’.“I am looking forward to interesting scripts coming my ways.
