The Things I Find

I find that I stay up much
too late. I find that I creep
around the house like a burglar
while everybody else is sleeping.
I find my room. I go in and shut
the door behind me. I find my bed.
I find the lamp next to me and I
turn it on. I locate the abstract
painting on the wall across
from the bed and I look at it.
The painting looks real good.
I find that I prefer this painting
to most things.
