DADARHEA extended through March 27

‘Dadarhea’; closes on Sunday. This raw, uncouth exhibition presents the individual and collective efforts of Dadarhea, an intermittent über-collective, it would seem, made up of about 20 artists, among them Brian Belott, Melissa Brown, Jim Drain, Naomi Fisher, Devin Flynn, Billy Grant, Laura Grant, Joe Grillo, Takeshi Murata, Ara Peterson, Fran Spiegel and Michael Williams. Originating, according to the news release, as “a summer workshop for video ideas,” the group proves once more that there is creativity in numbers. The show’s centerpiece is a jubilant, sprawling, jump-cutting video tour de force of overheated color and animation-appropriation that involves some of the objects on view and is titled, unsurprisingly, “Dadarhea.” Canada, 55 Chrystie Street, near Hester Street, Lower East Side , (212) 925-4631,canadanewyork.com.
